I can’t tell you if you made a bad decision in choosing China over Japan b/c that’s YOUR decision. I can tell you aspects about China that could help your decision. I’m Chinese-American and I’ve been back to China many times. I would first consider the culture of China and Japan. If you don’t understand the culture of China or Japan, there is no point of studying their. I also think that the “chinese smog” is not a problem unless you are living in the city. If you haven’t seen this problem in Japan, then why did you not choose Japan as the country to study abroad. Don’t get me wrong, I love China. I commend you for studying in China b/c we need more people like that and you will fully enjoy the culture, entertainment, language, surrounding, etc. of China. If you have any questions, you can message me!!
