I Just Bought An R4 Chip From China..and It Gives Me An Error. Is There A Chinese-english Conversion I Need?
I just bought an r4 chip from china. it worked well over there with a chinese ds. But when i came here it wont work on a regular one. Is there a chinese – english firmware i need to covert the chip?

You probably have this question posted in the wrong section, but I live in China and have bought an R4 for my DS here.
Your R4 should have come with a disk, and you need to copy some of those files and folders over to the Mini SD disk. You need the following for the R4 to work properly:
_system_ (8.4MB Folder)
moonshl (4.07MB Folder)
_DS_Menu (4MB System File)
_DS_Menu (1.34MB Dat File)
_DS_MSHL.nds (689KB NDS File)
If you don’t have these files, or it’s still not working, then send me an email and I will email you a copy of mine. Or, you can probably find them for download somewhere on the net, now that you know what your looking for.
