I studied Japanese first in university, then took a semester of chinese. I think if you’ve studied one it’ll help with the other because you’ll be able to recognize the characters (though they sometimes slightly differ)http://www.japanese-online.com/ http://learnjapanese.elanguageschool.net…

I think you should stick with Mandarin
You wouldn’t want to get confused LOL and I think it would do you more good to learn that then Japanesehttp://www.rosettastone.com/offer/google…http://learnjapanese.elanguageschool.net…

Japanese is harder and if you learn two languages which seem similar (only seem, in fact they are not) your brain will confuse grammar structures and vocabulary…

If you want to master a second language, i would advise you stick to one at a time.

There is no reason not to take both languages at the same time. It is all up to you.
